(Work Time: 60 minutes)

- Drying the Technon® powder is recommended for best results, but is not essential. To do so, heat the powder to 110°F (43°C) for about 1 hour and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Measure and pour the required amount of A and B poly components into the mixing container. The suggested ratio is 100 parts A to 20 parts B by weight. See photo below
- Mix by hand for about 15 seconds.
- Measure and add the required amount of Technon® powder to the mixing container. The suggested mixing ratio is 93.5% powder to 6.5% poly (A & B combined). See photo below
- Mix A and B poly components well with the Technon® powder for 5 - 10 seconds using a high shear mixer or 25 - 30 seconds by hand. See photos below
- Adjust the consistency by adding more powder to achieve the maximum density desired.
Consistency by Application |
Max. Density After Curing |
| Poured | 9.5 g/cc |
| Injected under pressure | 10 g/cc |
| Filled as light paste | 10.25 g/cc |
| Filled as heavy paste | 10.50 g/cc |
| Spincast | 11.50 g/cc |
- Pour compound and allow to cure for 24 hours at room temperature. Alternatively, injection may also be used. See photos below

Notes:
- Vacuum degassing is not required
- Curing by elevated temperatures is not recommended
- Drying the powder is recommended for best results, but not essential
- Store in a cool dry location. Unopened containers have a shelf life of 6 months from date of shipment, when properly stored
- Purge opened containers with dry nitrogen before resealing
For production quantities, we can offer a unique system that allows mixing directly in the injector container (syringe) with a suitable mixing impeller. After mixing, simply withdraw the impeller, replace it with a push rod and a piston, attach a suitable nozzle (not shown), and inject.
Eco-Friendly: All components are reusable, with minimum wasted compound and an efficient production cycle time. Several container sizes are available.
